For a period of one year, the Youth Employment Service (YES) program is designed to give young people who are currently without jobs and come from backgrounds that have been historically disadvantaged the chance to gain meaningful work experience.

To be eligible to participate in the program, the following are the fundamental requirements:

Citizen of South Africa nation
That you are younger than 29 years old
That you come from a background that has historically been disadvantaged (which could be African, Colored, or Indian).
The fact that you have never participated in the YES initiative in the past
At the moment, without a job

Literacy in computer use
Fundamental abilities in communication Capabilities in problem solving
Literacy in numbers
