ANNUAL SALARY: R181 599 in addition to other benefits

REQUIREMENTS:

Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
An advantage will be added to your application if you have a National Diploma in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification.
A working familiarity with the Public Service Act and its regulations. Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act, PMDS rules, and PSCBC regulations are all examples of laws and acts that regulate employment.
The ability to use computers (Ms. Office Suite).

Ability to interact well with others and communicate effectively.
Capability of working under pressure, willingness to participate as a member of a team, and a strong orientation toward providing courteous customer service are all desirable qualities.
It will be to your advantage if you are familiar with the PERSAL system and the PERSAL certificates.

DUTIES:

Recruitment and selection, as well as the implementation and administration of Human Resource Administration practices, conditions of service, including (but not limited to) leave, housing allowances, medical aid, service termination, long service recognition, transfers, pensions, and other allowances.
Taking use of overtime, night shift, standby, and other shifts, etc.
A familiarity with the processes for filing complaints and receiving discipline.
A fundamental understanding of the matters concerning the development of abilities and the coordination of training.

A fundamental understanding of the policies and procedures governing disability leaves and retirement due to illness (PILIR).
Ensure PMDS matters are coordinated, including the monitoring of compliance.
Maintain accurate attendance records for each member of the institution’s workforce.
Maintain confidentiality.
Provide the institution with efficient services in the areas of record filling and management. Handle postage (incoming and outgoing).

Help out in some of the other HR departments.
Every day, process documents to be sent to the e-government.
Make sure that all of the relevant parties receive accurate information and guidance.
Respond to inquiries regarding the administration of human resources and carry out any other tasks that have been assigned to you by your superiors.
