CENTRE: Gauteng EMS: Midrand ECC (24 hrs Fleet Desk)

REQUIREMENTS:

The incumbent is required to have finished high school and a diploma or certificate program in fleet management, in addition to having experience managing fleets of vehicles. A valid driver’s license. A familiarity with the concepts and procedures involved in the management of fleet 150. Required to have completed some kind of computer training. Literate in, Skills in both interpersonal interaction and communication (verbal and written)

DUTIES:

Upkeep of the EMS vehicle fleet. Maintain financial and operational discipline with regard to the upkeep and costs associated with EMS vehicle utilization.
Contribute to the compilation and ongoing maintenance of the vehicle asset registry. Ensure that vehicles are being used to their full potential.
Maintain a consistent inspection schedule.
Make sure that all of the cars are maintained in a state that is roadworthy at all times and that they get timely and routine maintenance on them.

The staff will work shifts and be responsible for handling things like accidents, travel authorizations, and reconciling reports, among other responsibilities.
Coordinate the monthly costs of transportation and provide a monthly report on those costs.
Carry out any additional responsibilities that the hiring manager sees fit to assign you.
The selected applicant will be accountable for delivering these services.

Management of administrative support activities including, but not limited to, the drafting of representation on traffic infractions and vehicles
Renewal of licenses, scheduling of car maintenance and e-tolls, distribution of license plates, and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure and fulfill commitments In addition to any other tasks delegated, the compilation of monthly reports as necessary is one of your responsibilities.
