Qualifications
• Grade 12 or an equal qualification

Skills and knowledge:
• Fluent English, communication skills; fluency in another language would be advantageous; excellent customer service
• Tenacious; high vitality; highly motivated and goal-oriented
• Previous retail experience would be advantageous.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Provide excellent customer service to ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience.

• Assist customers in locating the goods and products they seek.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints

2. Cashier responsibilities

• Accept cash and credit card payments
• Lay Bys in Process
• Handle customer refunds
• Informing the supervisor of any discrepancies or problems
• Balanced until

3. Commercialization

• Ensure that stock is priced and displayed correctly.
• Ensure the sales floor’s product availability.
• Cleanliness
• Staying up to date on promotions

4. Risk – Make sure products are tagged in accordance with corporate policy

– Watch out for shoplifters and fraudulent activity, and report any suspicious behavior to management
