Job Summary

Cleaning and keeping up with the kitchen as indicated by hygiene and legal requirements to prevent the spread of bacteria and germs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 and a cooking/catering certificate
• Minimum of 3 years’ involvement with the kitchen environment.
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities (verbal and written) are fundamental.
• Adaptability and ability to stay at work longer than required as and when required.
• Proven customer care orientation
• Should be a cooperative person.
• A capacity to follow and stick to a strict everyday timetable.

Essential Duties:

• Guarantee that all pots, container, dishes, and cutlery are totally cleaned, and standards norms are kept up with.
• Guaranteeing that all floors, walls, tables, and store racks in all kitchen areas are spotless.
• Rotate in ALL areas in the Kitchen when required.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking.
• Help with serving meals when required.
